Joan Williams, Director
Joan has volunteered and worked in the non-profit sector for the past 30 years. As a volunteer she started the Ronald McDonald House and the George Person Pool for the Disabled. She has served on many Boards including the Picasso Cafe, Avalon Women’s Centres, and the BC Transplant Foundation.
Her work experience includes the Rick Hansen Man in Motion Tour, the Nature Trust of BC, BC Cancer Agency, BC Children’s Hospital, and for seven years was the Executive Director of St. Vincent’s Hosptial Foundation. She is now enjoying retirement by spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, playing golf, reading and walking.
